About Us

The Lancashire Drug and Alcohol Action Team (LDAAT) deliver the Government’s National Drug and Alcohol Strategies across Lancashire.

LDAAT works with local partners and the voluntary sector to develop drug and alcohol services that let people re-build their lives in their own communities.

What we do

LDAAT commissions drug and alcohol services for Lancashire, co-ordinating Central Government funding for local treatment and managing the performance of Lancashire's services.

The services we commission provide support for the recovery of substance misusing clients and incorporate help with housing, health, education and employment.

Drug & Alcohol Recovery Services

LDAAT’s integrated drug and alcohol services follow the recovery model, offering a path from treatment to a fulfilling life in the community.

Services are provided in a range of community, criminal justice and prison settings, incorporating peer mentoring, volunteering, family support groups and the Lancashire Users Forum (LUF).

Info about Drugs & Alcohol

LDAAT is guided by the Government’s Drug and Alcohol Strategy 2010: Reducing Demand, Restricting Supply, and Building Recovery, which aims to help people live free from drug and alcohol misuse.

Information on this website, will help you minimise harm whilst using drugs or alcohol or take the steps you need to stop using drugs or alcohol altogether.

Getting Involved

Lancashire has a successful and well-established range of drug and alcohol services, offering support to people living in the north, east and central areas of the county (the localities).
