Welcome to the Lancashire Drug & Alcohol Action Team website. Substance misuse continues to present formidable challenges. Not just for the strategic bodies and service providers working hard to tackle its effects, but also for the communities and families for whom it remains a day to day reality.
This website provides useful help and information for those affected by substance misuse. It also reflects on our achievements to date and sets out clear objectives for the year ahead. It gives opportunity for stakeholders to be involved in the work of the partnership, enabling two way communication. We are committed to reaching our goals but cannot do this without your help. By pooling our energies in this way, we can expect greater successes in our effort to break the cycle of drug and alcohol misuse. And we can look forward to a healthier, safer Lancashire.
